Terms & Conditions
Booking and Payments.
Your booking is confirmed on receipt of your deposit, a non-refundable deposit of £100. The balance maybe paid in 6 monthly instalments. Full payment must be made by 1 st September 2025. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation and Refunds.
Cancellations made 28 days before the start date will receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit and less a £50 cancellation charge. Cancellations made after this period will not be eligible for a refund. However, I will try my best to fill your place and refund you where possible. If I cancel the Retreat, you will receive a full refund. However, I am not
responsible for additional costs such as your travel expenses, so please consider taking out travel insurance.
Participation
The Write Retreat will be a supportive environment that ensures tolerance and understanding of all participants and their creative work. We therefore ask that you are thoughtful and respectful of the other writers and help foster an atmosphere conducive to
creativity.
I reserve the right to refuse a place and/or to exclude from a retreat any writer who behaves in an abusive or disruptive manner or engages in any discriminatory conduct. No refund will be given if exclusion is made for these reasons.
I want everyone to be able to make the most of the retreat so please make sure that I am aware of any individual needs you have to make the most of the retreat.
Privacy and Data Protection.
Data Collection: Your personal information, including contact details, dietary and access needs, will be collected for booking administration and to meet your needs during the retreat.
I will not store credit/debit card details outside of the payment platform Stripe. Information is stored securely on-site and electronically.
I will not share any personal information with third parties.
Changes to the Retreat.
I reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, location, or times due to unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified of significant changes as soon as possible.
Loss/Liability.
As organiser of this Writing Retreat, I cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or expense sustained by participants as a result of an event or circumstance whether arising from natural cause, human agency, or otherwise beyond my control. At all times, our liability to you is limited to the retreat or retreat fee you have paid.
By completing the registration process, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
